Which pets can I use?

We create art for dogs, cats, birds, and horses. Upload a photo of any of these and we'll turn them into a portrait.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear, well-lit shot of the face. Soft daylight, one pet in the frame, eyes and ears in focus. A phone photo is fine.

Can I use a photo with more than one pet?

Start with one pet in the frame. That’s what the preview is built for.

What if it doesn’t look like my pet?

You get 2 free watermarked previews. Try another style, or upload a clearer photo.

Is there a free preview?

Yes. You get 2 watermarked previews, free. Pay only when you want the HD file or a print.

Prints & delivery

What can I print on?

Mugs and wall art like canvas, framed canvas, framed fine-art prints, and metal prints. Each item is made by the workshop that does it best.

How long does a print take?

It depends where it's made and shipped. Most orders arrive in about 5–14 days — a few days to print, then delivery by courier. You'll see a delivery estimate at checkout once you enter your address.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship across the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Import duties are always included, so there are no surprise fees at the door. See our shipping page for the full list of countries.

How do I get the HD file?

After you pay. The 4K file on its own is $20, or $10 if you add it to a print.

Orders & gifts

Can I give this as a gift?

Yes. Put their address at checkout and it ships to them.

Do you offer refunds?

The HD file is final after you pay — that’s why the two previews are free. If a print arrives damaged or we printed the wrong thing, email hello@printmypetart.com and we’ll send a replacement.

Can I change or regenerate my art after I order?

Prints are locked in once your order is placed and sent to the printer, so the art can’t be changed after that. Digital files can be regenerated up to two times within 24 hours of ordering. After that, email hello@printmypetart.com and we’ll do our best to help.

What happens to my photos?

We don’t keep the photo you pick. It only goes to our painter when you generate a preview, and that preview stays in your browser. After you pay, we keep the HD file for your order. Anything unpaid is dropped within 24 hours.
